With sedative and general anesthetic services you can have
your dental procedure in comfort and safety; you will awaken
feeling relaxed at the completion of your treatment.
Anesthetic services provided are tailored to the patient's
needs. The anesthetic technique the patient receives depends
on the individual's requirements for comfort; Nitrous Oxide,
intravenous conscious sedation, deep sedation, and general
anesthesia are available.
Patients undergo thorough medical history and physical examination
relevant to the anesthetic method to be used before the treatment
is scheduled. Patients deemed to be anesthetic risk must be
cleared for out-patient anesthesia by a primary care physician
in order to receive dental treatment under sedation. This
is part of Dr. Fee and his staff's commitment to patient safety
and their dedication to provide dentistry above the standard
of care for safety as well as in comfort.
In order to ensure safety and practice constant vigilance, Dr. Fee and his registered nurses constantly monitor all vital signs from the onset of sedation until the patient is fully recovered.
